Why John Started This Company
When John Kyzar entered the construction industry, he saw what most homeowners eventually experience: contractors who go quiet mid-build, schedules that slip without explanation, and homes that weren't engineered to last through a real storm.
The values he learned in the military, clear communication, accountability, and preparation, were exactly what construction was missing.
In 2018, John started EZ Modern Homes with a clear focus: build fully custom homes at a price point where most builders only offer semi-custom packages. You pick the layout, the finishes, and the fixtures. We give you a real number before we break ground and we stand behind it.
Today we build across the Florida Panhandle, in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, and the surrounding counties. We're not the biggest builder on the Panhandle. We want to be the one that homeowners who've done their research choose.
